Joshua Cunningham

Joshua CunninghamJoshua earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior design at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he continues to mentor students and answer late night phone calls for advice and a little comic relief. He takes pride in being an approachable role model to others. Meanwhile he continues to ask his own mentors questions daily and is proud to say he learns something new every day.

He has 3 years of full-time experience in the industry and is proficient in Revit and Photoshop and has even experimented with cutting edge virtual reality to immerse people into a project.

Joshua has been hand drawing built environments in 3D since childhood and often developed hypothetical floor plans for fun! He has always been fascinated by the physiological and psychological impact a space can have on its occupants. His intuition, innovative thinking and devotion to excellence are delivered with an engaging personality, strong stage presence and passionate concern for the environment and its inhabitants. He is thrilled to be part of a team that shares these skills and values!

He strives to be involved in every opportunity that presents itself and is often exploring new hobbies and attending events around the city. From pumpkin carving contests to dodge ball tournaments Joshua loves to be involved in quirky Industry events with his colleagues. He designs and fabricates runway fashion out of building materials for the IIDA Fashion Show each year and spent the last two years designing and constructing the TEDX Beacon Street set with a small group of design professionals. On his own time he enjoys creative writing, participating in performing arts, and making unique DIY projects with his friends and family.

While he prefers the energetic and fast paced lifestyle Boston provides, he often visits his family in rural New Hampshire to boat, snowmobile and play with his 200 pound Mastiff dog Tank (T.J.) -who coincidentally shares a birthday with him.
